A little bit about me!

Hi, my name is Sarah, I am your photographer at A Pocket Full of Poses.

I am a mother of one and Grandmother of three. The little darling in the photo below is one of my Grandchildren and she is now five.

I have been photographing pretty much anything for as long as I can remember, then got more serious when my son was at school and playing sports. Little did I know that photographing Rugby games and Little Athletics was perfect preparation for taking photos of busy children.

Since then I have done lots of learning and undertaken training, so you can feel secure in the knowledge my number one priority is always your family's safety. I have endless patience when dealing with young children, learned on the job as a mother! Toddlers are some of my favourite people. Always curious and always learning. Seeing the world through their eyes is always an education.

I'd love to meet you and your family and help to capture some of your moments and turn them into memories for you.

A POCKET FULL OF POSES

The desire to be a newborn photographer was tempered by the concern that I could inadvertently hurt a newborn when posing if I didn't understand how best to manage this.
I looked for, and found a course developed by The Academy of Newborn Photography, based here in Brisbane.
Unlike most courses for newborn photographers, this one was developed in conjunction with Medical personnel who know and understand a newborn's physiology.
As a result of completing the course I am confident in handling your baby to create wonderful memories while being safe.
